As an honored member of the “TOP 100 Innovation” for Small to Medium Enterprises, ACI ecoTec specializes in process and automation engineering; we develop and manufacture machines and customized production lines involving precision robotics, turnkey systems for assembly, micro-assembly, measurement and testing for the automotive industry. We secured our debut in the photovoltaic industry with up to 20 patented processes for wafer-to-cell production and module technology for crystalline and thin-film. Thanks to quick commissioning, high uptimes and our easy-to-integrate modular design, these systems have achieved an excellent reputation throughout the world; this is evident from the high export share of over 75%.

Our machines and systems are supplied to all key markets in the photovoltaic industry on a global scale. Currently our main products are in wafer/cell separation and handling for wet chemical batch and inline processes, through to complete back-end assembly lines for thin-film technology. We established a close working relationship with one of our major customers, manufacturing customized solutions and intricate machinery for a leading supplier of high performance, cost-effective photovoltaic module solutions. This led to an extensive mutual collaboration and resulted in a merger of both companies.

ACI ecoTec’s existing customer relationships, execution capabilities and solid market reputation provided them with a unique opportunity to rapidly roll out their manufacturing technology offering across a wide cross section of PV manufacturers in a number of key markets.
