The resultant multilayered film has excellent stability characteristics. Protekt^® with an “HD” designation represents a high dielectric performance that exhibits superior partial discharge and electrical insulation properties. Protekt^® HD is the ultimate in flame resistance, electrical insulation and durability against hydrolysis and chemical degradation. Protekt^® HD has undergone extensive testing and surpasses industry standards, ensuring performance reliability for the life of the panel.

Protekt^® TFB HD

Protek^t® TFB HD is a PV backsheet developed specifically for thin-film applications. It includes all the performance features of Protekt^® HD and incorporates a layer of aluminum to provide increased barrier properties.
